KoCo Factory Quality Testing | Caster Steering Brake 180° Rotation Destructive Test
Quality isn't just a slogan; it's the result of countless real-world tests.
Recently, the KoCo factory conducted a 180° rotation destructive test on the steering brake assembly of the B3 marking caster.
By simulating the caster's use under abnormal force, strong impact, and extreme rotation conditions, the test further verified the strength,
stability, and safety performance of the steering brake structure.
This test was conducted in a laboratory environment with a temperature of 22℃ and a humidity of 40%RH. During the test, the operator fixed the top mounting plate of the caster,
depressed the brake pedal, and used gravity impact to rotate the caster bracket more than 180° to check whether the caster bracket and steering brake chuck teeth would be damaged
under high-intensity impact.
After the test, the sample performed stably.
The casters rotated smoothly;
The bracket structure was undamaged;
The steering brake disc teeth were undamaged;
Final test result: qualified.
The Test details can be found in the video:
The importance of this test lies in the fact that it is not merely an inspection of individual components, but a verification of the overall safety and durability of the caster. For industrial casters, directional brakes need to withstand frequent locking, turning, impacts, and load changes in actual use. If the directional brake structure is insufficiently strong, it may affect the caster's stability, operational safety, and service life.
Therefore, the 180° rotation destructive test allows for a more intuitive assessment of the product's reliable performance under extreme conditions, enabling early detection of potential risks and ensuring customer safety and efficiency in real-world usage scenarios.
As a professional caster manufacturer, KoCo always prioritizes product structural design, material selection,
manufacturing processes, and quality inspection. Every product undergoes a rigorous quality management process
from sample testing to mass production. KoCo focuses not only on product appearance and functionality but also on long-term stability, load-bearing capacity, and safety performance.
The successful completion of the B3-marked caster steering brake test demonstrates KoCo's stringent quality requirements and showcases the factory's comprehensive strength in caster manufacturing, testing control, and product reliability.
