4-inch Aluminum Core Rubber Caster Wear Resistance and Load Test:
15km Continuous Walking, 10,000 Obstacle Cycles
Introduction:
The quality of casters is not just about appearance, but also about withstanding repeated testing under real-world working conditions.
In this test, we conducted a load and wear resistance test on our 4-inch aluminum core rubber casters.
Through continuous walking, obstacle impacts, and long-distance running,
we examined the casters' stability, wear resistance, and structural reliability under high-load conditions.
Test Sample Information:
Test Product: 4-inch Aluminum Core Rubber Caster
Product Number: MHRQ4A-01-RAL
Quantity: 1 piece
Test Date: 2026/04/26
Test Environment: 22.4℃, 37%RH
Test Conditions:
This test used a disc-type caster testing machine with a disc circumference of 3m.
During the test, the caster moved continuously at a speed of 1m/s. Two obstacles were set up on the testing machine,
each with two 55mm wide grooves to simulate road impacts and obstacles encountered by the caster during actual use.
The test load was set at 200kg, and the actual test load was 212kg.
Testing Process:
The test began at 8:00 AM and ended at 3:00 PM.
The casters accumulated a total walking distance of 15,000 meters (15 kilometers) and completed 10,000 obstacle crossings in a continuous test.
After prolonged load walking and repeated obstacle crossings, the casters remained in stable condition overall,
with only slight wear on the rubber wheel surface and no significant changes to the overall structure.
Test Results:
After a 15km test, the casters showed the following:
The rubber wheels functioned normally.
There was no delamination between the rubber wheels and the aluminum core.
The rubber wheels showed no signs of cracking, chipping, or crumbling during normal use.
Load abrasion resistance test results: Passed.
This test further verified the stable performance of this 4-inch convex-concave aluminum core rubber caster under high load,
continuous walking, and repeated obstacle impact conditions.
As a caster manufacturer, we always insist on verifying product quality with test data, continuously providing customers with
more stable, durable, and reliable caster products, from materials and structure to finished product performance.
Compared to static testing, dynamic durability testing more accurately reflects the reliability of casters during long-term use, helping us to promptly verify whether the product has problems such as delamination, cracking, chipping, shedding, or abnormal operation. This test is not only an important part of product quality control, but also a strong basis for demonstrating the durability and stability of casters to customers.
