Some of the features that eliminate the need for frequent maintenance while still allowing very smooth rotation even under heavy loads include a machined top plate and a combination "plane bearing + thrust bearing" structure. Product Description:

To ensure smooth movement and long-lasting wear, the K51 series heavy duty polyurethane on cast iron wheel has a machined top plate and raceway. A plane and thrust bearings combination in the turning part brings about even smoother operation.

Maintenance-Free Precision Steering System:

The K51 heavy duty metal caster's main competitive advantage is in the steering part where the combination design of "plane bearing + thrust bearing" is used. Thus it is maintenance-free, and very smooth in the long run.

High-Precision Machined Top Plate:

K51 heavy-duty polyurethane caster top plate and raceway are finely machined. This perhaps distinguishes them from most of the other casters which are produced by a normal stamping process. Besides, the ultra-thick 10mm-12mm top plate prevents the structure from deforming under high pressure thus improving wear resistance and service life.

Heavy-Duty Structure:

The overall walking structure is reinforced with 16mm-18mm high-strength kingpin and 8mm-10mm thick yoke for a heavy-duty load of 460kg to 1500kg.

K51 Series Professional Selection Suggestions:

With such a wide parameter range from 4 inches to 12 inches in the K51 series, we provide the following suggestions:

Step 1: Match with load capacity:

Regular heavy-duty (460kg - 680kg): It is recommended to choose 4" (100mm), 5" (125mm), or 6" (150mm). These models, together with No. 01 base plate (110x140mm), are perfect for very heavy, yet compact-sized equipment.

Super heavy-duty (800kg - 1500kg): 8" (200mm), 10" (250mm), or 12" (300mm) options are mandatory. The 12-inch version can support 1.5 tons per single wheel load. It's great for mold handling and heavy machinery.

Step 2: Decide the wheel material according to the ground condition and working environment:

NG: Extremely high load capacity and minimal starting resistance. It works well for clean floors, chemical plants, or situations where long-term static support is required.

PI/PU: Provides quiet operation and floor protection. PI wheel cores are more impact resistant, suitable for industrial workshops with an uneven surface.

CI: In extreme case scenarios (such as hot temperature or a floor littered with metal debris), a CI wheel is used. It offers the highest durability, but it should be noted that the floor may be damaged.

Step 3: Check installation dimensions:

No. 01 base plate: Fits 4" to 8" sizes, a wide hole spacing range (66~84 x 110mm), offering strong compatibility.

No. 02 base plate: Made for 10" and 12" sizes, with larger dimensions of 140x180mm, the base mounting stability is guaranteed under loads over 1 ton.

Step 4: Functional customization suggestions

Long-distance pushing: When manually or mechanically pulling, to reduce swinging, RIR directional locking must be selected.

Ramp operation: SWB (dual brake) is recommended, which, at the same time, involves wheel rotation and bracket steering for the safety of the operator.
