Product Description:

The K32 series polyurethane industrial wheel is the number one choice of the material handling industry for caster wheels in medium to heavy-duty applications. By deep forming, heat treating, and installing double ball bearing raceways, this series delivers excellent performance with minimal wear.

Advantages:

5.5mm Base Plate: This is the heart of the K32. While most casters in the industry are still using 4mm, we have made it 5.5mm. That 1.5mm extra thickness of the base plate increases the bracket bending strength by a few times, thus the bracket will be stable even under heavy pressure or sudden violent impacts over 400kg.

15.8mm Extra-Thick Central Rivet: The rivet diameter has been increased from 12.8mm in the K31 to 15.8mm. A larger diameter means a stronger resistance to shear force.

Customised Solutions: The K32 cast iron core caster opens up a wide range of brake solutions in the industrial field that include TLB (side brake), SWB (double brake), DT (side brake), FT (front brake), and FCB (full ‍‌‍‍‌brake).

K32 Series Selection Guide:

K32 polyurethane on a cast iron wheel can carry a load between 136kg to 420kg. Incorrect choice not only costs more money but can also be a safety hazard. Here are the correct steps to follow:

Step 1: Include load capacity and manoeuvrability in your considerations (figure out the wheel diameter)

100mm (4 inches): Load capacity 136kg-370kg. Only suitable for the low-centre-of-gravity equipment with a very limited installation height.

125mm (5 inches): Load capacity 158kg-400kg. The "all-rounder" size in the industrial field offers maximum flexibility.

150mm (6 inches): Load capacity 185kg-420kg. This size is very good in negotiation of speed bumps and floor gaps so greatly lowering the effort.

200mm (8 inches): Load capacity 226kg-420kg. The best option for long-distance transport with the smoothest rolling and the lowest starting resistance.

Rule of thumb: The workers will be physically less tired if the pushing force is less realized; this happens when the wheel diameter is bigger. Therefore, if the budget allows, go for the bigger wheel diameter.

Step 2: Think of the condition of the ground (figure out the wheel material)

This is by far the most crucial element to consider. The 10 materials of K32 polyurethane on cast iron wheel can be used in various operating environments:

UC / PI / UH (Polyurethane-coated cast iron core):

Application examples: Epoxy flooring, tiles, marble floors.

Main advantages: The cast-iron core remains undeformed under 420kg load, and the polyurethane surface is floor-friendly.

CI (Pure cast iron wheel):

Application examples: High-temperature workshops, rough concrete roads full of iron slag.

Main advantages: Extremely strong, resistant to heat and metal debris.

PH (Phenolic resin):

Application examples: Food baking rooms, heavy pieces of equipment that are rarely moved.

Main advantages: Heat-resistant and does not get "flat spots" even under a high load.

PP / PU (Lightweight composite material):

Application examples: Laboratories, food factories, and places where acid and alkali corrosion are weak.

Main advantages: The material is light, and the corrosion resistance is very high.

RS (Rubber-coated cast iron core):

Applicable scenarios: The surface is uneven, and if the noisy operation is in outdoor or semi-outdoor areas.

Main advantages: The difference between a car tyre and a rubber tyre is that the first one stores energy while the second one stores energy. Hence, by absorbing more energy, it is easier to push the rubber tyres.

TR (TPR thermoplastic):

Applicable scenarios: Hospitals, laboratories and corporate environments.

Main advantages: Very quiet, but not suitable for heavy loads (maximum load 226kg).

Step 3: How often does it get used? (decide on the bearing type)

Double Ball Bearing: Super smooth rotation, perfect for precision handling that requires frequent turning and flexible direction changes.

Roller Bearings: Simple, tough, and low maintenance, they are suitable for high-intensity linear reciprocating handling.
