The K33 series monolithic castor wheel is capable of high loading up to 400-600kg. They are equipped with a double raceway heat treatment process and a top plate of 5.5mm thickness that has been reinforced to provide excellent flexibility and durability under powered traction. Product Description:

By using two raceways, the K33 series Monolithic caster improves the strength of the caster dramatically by heat treatment of both the raceway and yoke. The yoke is stretched and molded so that it not only strengthens it but also makes the rotation flexible, so it can be used for powered traction.

The K33-series industrial monolithic wheel is featured with an ultra-thick 5.5mm top plate and 4mm bracket, together with a 19mm center pin, which is riveted hydraulically provides a very sturdy structure. The single-wheel load capacity is up to 600kg, thus it can effectively withstand impact loads.

Double Raceway Heat Treatment Technology Advantages:

The swivel head incorporates a double raceway design, and both the raceway and the bracket receive a rigorous heat treatment hardening process. This results in an increase in overall strength, as well as a decrease in starting resistance.

Professional Selection Advice:

To select the most suitable K33 series casters, you may refer to the selection logic that is derived from the table data below:

Step 1: Select the specifications based on the load

Medium to Light Load (400-500kg): If the load per wheel is not more than 500 kg, it is advisable to pick a 3-inch (76.2mm) or 4-inch (101.6mm) wheel size. The total height of the installation is lower here (120mm-140mm), hence a more stable center of gravity is achieved.

Heavy Load Requirements (550-600kg): For a load of 600kg, make sure that you pick the 6-inch (152mm) or 8-inch (203mm) sizes. Larger diameter wheels not only have a higher load capacity but also better passability, easily overcoming small obstacles on the ground.

Step 2: Select Wheel Material Based on Ground Surface and Working Conditions

Choose UD (Aluminum Core Polyurethane): Heavy industrial floors, such as automotive manufacturing and aerospace, etc., are the main applications for this product. The aluminum core performs a rapid heat dissipation, thus it is capable of withstanding higher moving speeds and mechanical traction.

Choose SE (High-Elasticity Elastomer): Electronic workshops, medical equipment facilities, or laboratory environments that require a high level of quietness and shock absorption are the best applications for this product.

Step 3: Verify Installation Dimensions

The Standard Installation (Version 01): Top plate dimension is 114×100mm, and the hole spacing is 92×66.5mm. This is the most common standard size.

The Enlarged Installation (Version 02): The top plate has a dimension of 160×116mm and the hole spacing is 122.5×64.5mm. Version 02 should be the choice if a bigger load-bearing area is needed, or the present large casters are being replaced.

Step 4: Functional Configuration

If braking is needed: "+IS" (top plate brake, note: the braking version increases the installation height by 21mm) or "+DT" (front brake) should be added to the model number depending on the brake type.

Frequent Turning: It is suggested to do regular lubrication of the raceway to get the maximum output from the double heat-treated ‍‌raceway.

Warranty:

KoCo gives a one-year quality guarantee to all customers starting from the date of product delivery. Within this period, if the product has a manufacturing defect, which has been determined to be due to the raw materials or production process, we will carry out a free repair without any charge. However, this warranty does not apply to abnormal wear and tear caused by overloading, unauthorized modifications, wrong installation, or external environmental factors. If the product is found to be defective in manufacture, KoCo will send new replacement product of the same model, and the customer will bear the logistics and installation cost. This stipulation is limited to the quality of the product itself and does not provide any compensation for indirect losses. KoCo will not under any circumstance take over any additional compensation obligations for accidental damage or special consequential liabilities.
