The​‍​‌‍​‍‌ KoCo K41 series heavy moving castor is able to carry a single wheel load of 500-800kg. It has a 6-8mm thickened top plate and an 18/24mm kingpin, which is built to be strong. The heat-treated double raceway ensures very smooth swiveling. The standard setup is cast iron core polyurethane wheels (PI/UC). Factory direct supply, OEM customization is ​‍​‌‍​‍‌available.

Product Description:

The K41 series heavy duty polyurethane caster features a large top plate and raceways, which together provide easy swiveling and strength with a full double-level ball bearing and heat-treated raceway.

Advantages:

Load-bearing Structure:

In contrast to the typical series, the K41 heavy duty industrial caster chassis components are made of thick, heavy-duty, industrial-grade steel. The top plate is 6-8mm thick, the bracket 5.5-7.5mm thick, and combined with a hydraulically riveted kingpin with a diameter of up to 18/24mm, the whole thing provides very high structural stability and resistance to shear.

Heat-Treated Double Raceway:

The swivel head consists of a large-diameter top plate and two layers of steel ball raceway, with the raceway being hardened and deep heat-treated. Apart from increasing the impact strength of the structure, this solution also resulted in a heavy-load steering problem being solved, thus making the operation easier.

High-Performance Cast Iron Core Wheels:

Wheel cores are made of cast iron, which is a very strong material, and the outside is covered with high-quality polyurethane. This combination marries the ultimate load-bearing capacity of cast iron and the ground-friendly nature of polyurethane, giving excellent wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.

Full Size Coverage:

Sizes 6 inches to 12 inches can be found in the K41 series. The 10-inch and 12-inch sizes are meant for very large pieces of equipment and guarantee that the vehicle will be able to go and stand even under high loads.

Flexible Braking Options:

41 Series Professional Selection Recommendations:

Step 1: Determine Load Capacity Requirements:

500kg - 600kg: Opt for either 150mm (6") or 200mm (8") sizes. Both of these sizes offer a perfect mixture between flexibility and strength, which is just right for material handling carts that are moved very often.

750kg - 800kg: 250mm (10") or 300mm (12") sizes must be selected. The larger diameter wheel (300mm) has a height of 355.5mm, hence it is able to provide better structural support.

Step 2: Choose Wheel Surface Shape (PI vs UC):

The flat wheel should be chosen if the material is PI (Flat PU). There is a more extensive surface in contact, the load is distributed evenly, and the stability is higher, which makes it perfect for long-lasting static loading or low-speed linear movement.

Choose UC (Crowned PU) if the wheel is crowned. There is conversely a lesser contact area, thus a lower friction resistance during turning, and it is suitable for situations that require Frequent changes of direction or manual ‍‌pushing.

Step3: Check Mounting Plate:

Specification 01: The 6-inch and 8-inch models are the targeted products. The base plate measures 160×115mm. Multi-hole adaptability feature (from 133.8×85.4mm to 126.2×62mm) allows you to easily replace the heavy caster wheel on the old equipment.

Specification 02: 10-inch and 12-inch heavy-duty models only. Base plate size is 180×170mm, and the fixing bolts are thicker, Ø17 ones, in order to withstand extremely heavy loads.

Step 4: Consideration of the Application Environment

Use in equipped drying (Dryers): wheel material temperature resistance limit should be confirmed through customer service.

Powered traction (Tractor/AGV): It is advisable to select UC crowned wheels to save motor turning load and use excellent bearings.
