The K74 series stainless steel caster wheel is a kingpinless design, and the raceway is precision machined and heat-treated. Heavy duty steel wheel has outstanding impact resistance, with the product capable of continuous vibration and impact loading. It has a very flexible and smooth rotation, power traction as well as transport carts subjected to heavy loads and lateral impact are the most suitable applications.

Product Advantages:

1. The top plate thickness of 14mm is way beyond the standard market thickness. With the combination of precision forging technology, it has been confirmed that this component is able to, without any deformation, endure pressures exceeding 3 tons, which guarantees safety.

Step 1: Load and Performance Consideration:

1800kg - 3000kg: It is recommended to choose PX (heavy-duty polyurethane/cast iron core). Besides being very gentle on the floor, it also has the ability to slightly absorb vibrations. This makes it very suitable for automated assembly lines like the automotive ones.

2400kg - 3270kg: First choice is NX (high-strength nylon). Starting manually is the easiest with this very low resistance product, and it has very good wear and chemical resistance.

3.2 tons Extreme Environment: FS (forged steel wheel) must be selected in this situation. Single wheel loading capacity is 3.2 tons. It is specially designed for the rough flooring which is strewn with metallic debris or for extremely high-temperature areas like steel mills, shipyards, etc.

Step 2: Check Passability and Height (Diameter)

150mm (6") - 200mm (8"): The lower installation height (216-266.5mm) lowers the center of gravity of heavy equipment significantly and hence the tipping risk is decreased.

250mm (10") - 300mm (12"): A larger diameter wheel can go over obstacles with less difficulty. If the ground is laid out with grooves or gaps, selecting a bigger diameter model will considerably lessen the bumping experienced when moving.

Top plate dimensions: 159 × 190 mm.
