Product Description:

K75 series Heavy duty castor comes with a Kingpinless type of design; in addition to that, the raceway gets the heat treatment after being precisely machined. It has a very good resistance to impact and can hold up to continuous vibrations and impact loads. Heavy duty dolly caster rotates very flexibly and glides smoothly so that it is suitable for power traction and transport carts that are heavily loaded and get lateral impact.

Product Advantages:

16mm Armor-Grade Ultra-Thick Top Plate: The top plate thickness reaches 16mm, and the bracket thickness is 12mm, making it one of the thickest and heaviest industrial structures on the market.

5000kg Kingpinless Patent: By using a Kingpinless design, the load is transmitted directly onto the double-layer, heat-treated, and precision-machined raceway. As the traditional bolt center pin is not there, the breakage risk is eliminated; therefore, the lifetime is 5 times longer.

30mm Extra-Large Diameter Wheel Axle: Wheel axle bolt reaches a 30mm diameter, and this is combined with a self-locking nut. The huge three-ton carrying capacity of the equipment is support-stabilized 100% without any soundness issue.

Fully Machined Precision Raceway: After fully machining and heat-treating the raceway, steering torque is kept to the absolute minimum even at a 5-ton extreme load. Thus, the traction drive motor is well protected and at the same time the manual handling efficiency is also noticeably increased.

K75 Heavy Caster Professional Selection Suggestions:

If the load is between 3 tons and 5 tons, you need to be very accurate when choosing. First of all, you should check the following directions:

Step 1: Determine Load Level and Efficiency:

2300kg - 4000kg: PX (Heavy-duty Polyurethane/Cast Iron Core) should be chosen. The PU wheel surface has an elastic property, therefore, it absorbs vibration and does not cause any floor damage. It is quite applicable for the transportation of big elements in automotive assembly plants or precision laboratories.

5000kg (5-ton limit): selection of NX (High-strength Nylon) or FS (Fully Forged Steel Wheel) is mandatory. NX has a property of very low starting resistance; FS is very strongly wear-resistant and can tolerate high-level heat; both of them are very good flooring for heavy industry.

Step 2: Consider Throughput Requirements (Wheel Diameter):

200mm (8") - 250mm (10"): Mold carts requiring extremely high load capacity but with limited height go for these as the installation height is (278-328.2mm) relatively compact.

300mm (12") - 400mm (16"): The larger the wheel diameter the better the obstacle crossing performance. Therefore, if there are cable trenches on the ground or if it is uneven, a very large 400mm diameter wheel can both minimize pushing vibrations and thus safety of the goods can be guaranteed.

Step 3: Verify Mounting Base:

Extra-large top plate: 216 × 216 mm.

Mounting hole spacing: Standard 178 × 178 mm symmetrical hole pattern.

Mounting bolts: Fixing is done with the use of M16 (Ø16mm) high-strength bolts. Please ensure that you have enough mounting space on the equipment chassis before ordering.

Step 4: Power Traction Configuration Suggestions:

For AGV/automated towing vehicles: Our point of view is that they should choose the PSL directional lock. Because PSL lock can make the heavy vehicle keep the straight line when the long-distance mechanical traction is done and so there will be no risk of safety due to ‍‌‍‍‌swaying.

The product warranty for KoCo starts from the date of delivery and lasts one year. Throughout this time, if the material or manufacturing defects can be proven, the customers may request a free repair or replacement. However, the warranty does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, failure to use the product as per the instructions, or unauthorized changes to the structure. The final decision about the origin of the defect rests with the KoCo quality control department. This warranty only addresses the cost of parts and labor for repair or replacement of the product, excluding the transportation and local labor charges. Besides that, KoCo disclaims any liability for losses of any kind, and all warranty claims are handled within the limits of compensation set out in these terms.
